ABOUT PURE LILIES

Pure Lilies is an award winning private floral boutique based in Silver Spring MD offering elegant, custom floral arrangements ranging from  weddings, events, and corporate accounts to retail/restaurant spaces as well as holiday decor.

We offer a wide array of services, from wedding decorations to flowers. Our services are designed to make your event the best it can possibly be! For more information on the services that we provide, click the link below.

Our new studio is located in a residential setting and while we would love to welcome “walk-ins” it is best to call ahead to ensure someone will be here to greet you. An appointment will assure you that we have the time necessary to give you our full attention as we discuss your floral designs and needs.

We are available to meet with clients on Mondays and Tuesdays, we will always do our best to work with your schedule in arranging meetings, deliveries, etc.  To arrange a consult, you can reach us by phone or email.  When calling, we may be on site or with another client, please leave a message and contact information, as we do check messages frequently. Since all our orders are custom and we do not stock pre-made floral arrangements, we request a minimum of 24 hours notice in order to prepare your floral piece or pieces.

MEET THE OWNER

As a natural-born artist, I have spent my entire life obsessing about color and design.  Whether it was painting, decorating, baking, sculpting or arranging, I have been consumed with creating masterpieces!  As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I am dedicated to getting every bouquet and centerpiece exactly right.

I truly believe that a name can reveal a lot about a person, and I do believe that I was given my name for a reason.  Naming me Susan Kay, my parents could not have guessed that it would one day be my life's work and passion. The name Susan means "lily" and Kay means "pure", giving birth to the name of my floral studio.  I have studied the art of floral design at The Floral Design Institute in Portland, Oregon, and continue my studies while working to complete my AIFD certification.

When not working with flowers, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 20 years and our three children.
